Aimed at total beginners our learn to run course is ideal for those who have always wanted to start running but never felt they were fit enough, fast enough or strong enough.
If you've never run before, getting back into running or just want to get fit and meet other runners, this is the perfect way to start.
Follow the couch to 5k programme with the help of a qualified instructor who will guide you each week in a supportive group environment where no one gets left behind.
The first week you will only need to jog a total of 60 seconds at any one time. This builds up week on week to get you up to jogging 5k after eight weeks.
Handmade Christmas - Rug hooking workshop
Nan Millette will be sharing her expertise and showing you how to hook small festive ornaments. Using a rug-making or crochet hook along with wool or recycled materials, you will learn how to create your own colourful ornament by the end of the workshop- to take away, hang and get you in the Christmas spirit!

Winter Wildfowl Walk
This guided walk is a great opportunity to see Winter Wildfowl in their habitat to find out more about them.
Bring your binoculars, as we’ll be on the look out for the more common visitors to our local winter havens and maybe spot some occasional visitors.
All ages welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Bookings should include all adults and children attending.
